600 South Kona, Ka’u and North Kohala Households using SNAP EBT cards can enroll to earn Buy One Fresh/Get One Local food coupon tokens. This is a matching grant where each dollar in fresh produce you buy via EBT at any store or CSA on the Island can be matched by up to $60 in food coupons redeemable at the:

HOW IT WORKS
SNAP/EBT Households can receive up to $60 in fresh food purchase tokens – plus $60 more in local food class & farm tour scholarship tokens to attend great food classes and workshops, get to know local farms and farmers, attend family farm-to-plate dinners, pick your own produce and discover delicious new recipes.
That is a potential of $120 in free local food and learning experiences to enrich your household’s consumption of fresh, delicious locally grown foods.
