We’ve all had mixed experiences with people we’ve hired or relied on to help with our home construction or repairs, gardens, health, food, children, automobiles, legal needs etc. Wouldn’t it be great if we could read local area people’s recommendations for people they’ve worked with who have done good – even exemplary – work? Easily reached from a simple index based on trade or profession. And referrals for materials and products that really work and are fairly priced?
But how do we separate self promotion, by a business wanting your business, from our neighbor’s actual experiences?
The Kohala Business Referral Directory is a pilot project building a collection of RECOMMENDED Providers.
The good news is assured as the listings are submitted by happy customers in order for a business to be listed.
There is room for comments if work later performed by any customer doesn’t live up to the first glowing recommendation, but there will be careful pre-publication reviews of the postings to make sure they are fair and constructive. We don’t handle mediation, and don’t support malicious gossip. We DO support getting the good word out.
If you’d like to get your business listed, ask a satisfied customer to submit a recommendation and we’ll set up your information center. Once their review is approved, we will contact you for listing details.
When you want to recommend a business or provider, submit the form below and please include the businesses email so we can contact them to build a listing. Include company name, town, email, contact person, description of type of work or products, and your personal experience with their service or goods. Easy to submit and we’ll let you know when it is posted for viewing. You can include one 1,000p x 1,000p photo max.
