One Island has hosted a series of discussions on Tiny House solutions to Hawaii’s affordable housing crisis, and for farm worker housing to help increase local food production. We held community conversations and listening circles with local residents, convened meetings with Planning Department and elected officials, promoting State level legislation and County level permitting changes, and spurred the conversation forward.
