The Art of Sustainable Papermaking

group back mdAmazing fun with natural fibers from local plants. Our first papermaking workshops held October 19th up in Kapa’au and November 23rd and 24th were a fantastic experience for everyone involved. Instructor Susan O’Malley brought buckets and buckets of amazing plant fiber pulp and the crew of 14 made dozens and dozens of paper sheets, collage pieces for fusing to larger sheets, and several sculptural pieces. Ages 12 – 68 were present!

Do you still have room for 2 adults at the Jan. 25/26 paper making workshop?
If so, I’d like to register both my husband, Jim, and myself.
    Please send details.
    Mahalo,

I attended the paper making class in October and it was wonderful! My only wish was that it had been longer! NOW, the class in January will be 2 days- Yahoo!

Susan O’Malley is a wonderful, generous teacher who shares not only her years of experimenting and perfecting the art of papermaking , but endless hours of prep, collecting & set up.

I highly reccomend this class & Susan O’Malley and encourage anyone interested in paper to give it a try!!
